MitchElectronics kits are designed to be safe and ideal for educational environments by using low supply voltages provided by batteries (typically 0V ~ 16V), and as such are unlikely to cause harm, injury, or damage. However, this cannot be guaranteed if a kit is misused, incorrectly operated, or incorrectly constructed and as such MitchElectronics is not liable for damage or injury in these circumstances.

MitchElectronics kits

• Are designed for educational use
• Must NOT be used in commercial applications
• Must NOT be used in controlled environments (medical, military, aerospace etc.)
• Must be carefully checked for correct construction
• Must be constructed by a competent individual

MitchElectronics is not liable for ANY injury or damages if

• The kit is constructed by a non-competent individual
• The kit is not checked for proper construction
• The kit is not properly constructed
• The kit is implemented into a larger design
• The kit is implemented into a controlled environment (medical, military, aerospace etc.)

If MitchElectronics kits are to be constructed by those who are incompetent then they MUST be supervised by a competent user who has knowledge in electronics, construction of electronic circuits, and health and safety. When a MitchElectronics kit is constructed by an incompetent user who is under supervision then the individual who is supervising the incompetent user is liable for any damages or injury as a result of either the kit, implementation, or operation of the kit.

Kits that do not include all needed parts qualify for free replacement parts so long as MitchElectronics is informed within two weeks of notification after purchasing.
