Latched/Toggle Relay
The Latched/Toggle Relay kit is a relay module with a difference! Unlike other modules, the Latched Relay kit is a relay driver that includes a 4013 flip-flop IC to provide several functions that can help simplify hardware. The relay (which is controlled by the 4013) can be made to turn on or off and remain in this state so that only a single digital pulse is needed to set the state. But the relay can also be made to toggle with the use of the toggle input which will flip the relay state into the opposite state! The output of the module includes a common, normally closed, and normally open so that it can be used in a wide range of projects and applications and the board also includes two LEDs to indicate if the relay is in the on or off position! Please note that this module is not designed to work with mains voltages and, while not guaranteed, should be able to work with 3.3V logic but requires a 5V supply.

Applications
The Latched/Toggle Relay is an ideal module for those who need to control a large voltage and/or current with isolation. Furthermore, the kit uses CMOS input logic meaning that there is no need for drivers or converters and will work with both 5V and 3.3V logic from most microcontrollers and single-board computers. For safety purposes, we do not recommend that you use this with high voltages unless you are trained to do so and have the relevant qualifications.
Notes
Note that product specifics such as output frequency depend on the tolerance of the components. The numbers provided here are an approximation only. Also take note that the estimated delivery is not guaranteed (unless special delivery is chosen) and free delivery has a maximum waiting time of two weeks. Any product that is returned which is built using lead solder is ineligible for a refund.
